Marriage Thus Far......

So wow it's been almost 3 months since I got married, I can't believe it. It's been harder than I thought but things are great. I think the hardest part is getting used to each other and how we each do things. Like I've had to get used to the fact that Josh is impatient as all get out and how I'm wwwwwwaaaaaaayyyyyyy more laid back than he is. For instance he wants me to make this sauce with him and he is sitting in the kitchen loooking at me with his lip curled. I guess I better go. I'll write more in a little bit.

Marraige Counseling

So Josh and I went through a two hour counseling session with my Bishop and it made me realize that this is going to be tough. It's like a whole new job. Well not a job but it's going to require alot of attention and love. I love Josh with all of my heart but I'm not ignorant enough to think we'll never have a fight or never disagree to the point of not wanting to be around each other for a little while. I want to be the best for him so I'm going to try my hardest to do everything I can to compromise and choose my battles. Surprisingly enough the mission taught me alot about picking my battles and knowing whats truely important to speak up about. Anyway I learned alot and hope we can speak honestly to each other and work together as partners.
We bought our rings that night as well. It was alot of fun. Josh's ring is awesome and he loves it so much. He's so cute because he kept wanting to look at it and he even took it from me to show his brother, he was like a boy with a new toy. He's so cute!!!! I'll post some pics soon.
This weekend we are having a family reunion, kind of a baptism by fire for Josh, but I'm so excited to see my family members that I haven't seen since I was like 10 or so. Honestly I'm gonna be meeting some of my family members for the first time. There are alot of people that aren't blood related but are considered family. I consider my friends family as well. My best friend Janel is like another sister for me as well as my mission companions and the amazing members in Iowa (my mission). I love spending time with family. Only the most embarrassing stories come out, funny stupid things we all did and the same stories that have been told my whole life.
My sister, mother and I are doing a funny skit from the movie Mamma Mia. It's gonna be hilarious. I'll post some pictures next week to show you all what happened. I can't wait.

The most amazing week thus far.....

So this week was spring break and I spent the whole week with my fiance. It was amazing!!!! I love him so much. I can't believe how amazing he makes me feel. Everything with the wedding is coming into place, I found my photographer, DJ, and a great friend is going to do my flowers. I changed my colors but they match me a little more. Bright and bubbly. Anyway my future husband just called so i'm gonna write later. peace.

Dying!!!! but Happy!!!!!

So I made it through another day at work, I died all day today!!! My allergies are so bad that my eyes are redder than an apple, my nose looks like rudolph, and I look like I've been crying all day. Luckily I ws on the desk training so I didn't have to go into too many patient rooms, but I did go in one and I guy kept trying to console me because he thought I had been crying. But all in all it wasn't too bad.

Things with the wedding are coming along great!!! I bought my wedding dress yesterday!!!! My first wedding purchase. I have found a bunch of decorations and I have an appt with a photographer in a couple of weeks. And the DJ that I did my sisters wedding, who was amazing, is available. So now I just need to call him. I'm happy to get the big things out of the way so I can concentrate on the funner details, besides my stuff cause it's all about me really. J/K But really yes. Well I'm still at work so I guess I should be doing something productive.

So here we go!!!

Ok so call me conceited but I do have a wonderful life. I may whine and groan about everything that I have to do but I love my life. Some of you may not know but I'm getting married! His name is Josh Wright. Yes I'm marrying Mr. Wright!!! No he's not related to any of the Mesa Wrights, I know I'm gonna get that for however long I live in Mesa. So the date is set for June 13th of 2009!! What can I say we work fast. I love him with all of my heart, he's amazing and he makes me feel like the most important person in the world. I have never felt this way. I can't wait to be his wife. I can't believe I'm old enough or even mature enough to get married. You think I'm like this now, wait till I have kids. Anyway, I'm planning a wedding, trying to pass block one of the nursing program, trying to do my responsibilities in church, and spend time with my family. I've never been this busy before, funny thing is that I prayed for all of this. Sometimes I think Heavenly Father has a sick sense of humor. I could just imagine him up there listening to everything that I want and he's thinking ok you want it, you got it. Well I guess I should end this entry cause it's 2am and I have to be up in 3 hrs to work 12hrs at the hospital. Thanks for reading and welcome to my funky but wonderful life.
